Her mom maybe a blue! I had 2 broody ducks and their nests were destroyed and eggs taken, but 6 so I put the eggs in my incubator one of the duck sat earlier then the other. She hatched not long after I put it in my incubator! She hatched from a blue egg so I thought it was my chocolate broody duck’s egg, but if another duck laid in her nest and it was a blue well that could be the blueish color you are seeing!

Ok, I had a single duckling not to long ago and she all of a sudden got sick and died the same day! That was really hard she was my first duckling I bred! So I just don’t want to lose another one!!
if You provide shelter, good food, extra vitamines (B) and water deep enough for them to duck their head in, you should be fine in most cases
She got Lethargic and was not acting like normal we thought she was lonely but I don’t think she was because she was happy with me so we put her out side for some fresh air and I went to check on her and she was limp so I grabbed her, and she died in my dads or my hands!
Where do you live??How precious! Runner ducks are my absolute favorite. Ive been looking all over for them but I can't find anyone selling near me.
