Duckling Egg Candling Question

I’m currently going on week 2 of my duck incubation and took the eggs out to candle tonight… a lot of the eggs looked like expected (movement, veins, etc). Most of them I could pick up and see movement almost right away. However other eggs were almost completely dark -some with few veins- and I could t seem to have any luck no matter how many times i turned the egg. Could these be bad eggs? I want to give benefit of the doubt but it seems highly unlikely they’re any good…

What are some of the best ways to tell good eggs from bad? When would a good time to toss if they are bad? Thank you!

Can you get pictures of the eggs? It sounds like a few may be developing a little faster than the others.

None look too concerning to me. Just leave them all in and recandle before lockdown.

As long as I see veins there is life
I just had a twin egg that had good veins Friday evening
By 4am Saturday those veins were already gone as the baby tried to pip but never made the crack
I saw the bruise outside the air cell but I was to late
Moral of the story is
The veins equal life
When they go away the baby has died and it usually happens pretty fast
The egg won’t explode if there is still veins
