I have always given my ducklings chick starter crumbles. Pay close attention to ingredients as ducklings need niacin. Just don't use medicated feed .Are ducklings not suppose to eat chick started food? What do they need? I asked them at rural king and tractor supply and both told me that was fine . I don't know much about ducks, yet, but if I am not mistaken that is an old myth...I have always given my ducklings chick starter crumbles. Pay close attention to ingredients as ducklings need niacin. Just don't use medicated feed .
What are your options at your store? That’s what I have is the medicated. So I’ll run tomorrow and get something else. What’s the best kind to get
I don't see why they couldn't eat it.
There are some feed companies that make food specifically for ducklings.
Here are some of them...you can compare the label with your feed to see just how close or different they are to each other.

Feed stores do usually sell feed.Wonder if I can get something at a feed store
That may very well be true. I was always told that because ducklings eat so much they can over medicate themselves and I was never brave enough to test that theory lolI don't know much about ducks, yet, but if I am not mistaken that is an old myth...
The "medicine" that used to be in feeds many years ago was harmful to ducks but not the currently sold medicated feeds...at least the ones in the USA.
