Hey, so my 4 ducklings are arriving soon from Metzer. I have crumble Bartlett's Starter Growers with Apex 20% protein. I intend to mix it with the brewers yeast, but not sure how to know for sure they will get the right blend of it. I want to pre mix a huge batch, 20lbs at a time so anyone can feed them, but will the yeast fall to the bottom? Or does it all even out over the course of a few days? Any other feeding tips or comments on my setup? (I plan to put some hardware cloth around the paint tray to contain water, and put no-tip water dish on it next to feeder.) Thanks!

Hi! The yeast will most certainly fall to the bottom. I did this with nutritional yeast, and I just ended up mixing it every time I filled their feeder. Your setup looks great! Just be prepared to expand their space to match how quickly they grow. :)
Thanks! So is it possible to pre-mix it? I'm only getting four females, and this is one of those huge watermelon boxes from the grocery store, so it's about 8 ft area.
