If you do then I wouldn't.
If all your ducks are female then you CAN or you can feed the flock raiser and keep oyster shell in a dish near the food. The females will use what they need.

Thank you! Most websites say 0-2 weeks 20% protein and from 2 weeks until laying 15-17% protein is that not correct? Also that if given to much protein they can get angle wing. These is our first time just want to make sure I do it right.

I think some of that is trying to getcha to go buy another bag of their product. Companies have done stuff like this before.

I also heard 4-5 weeks to change it, like what the others have said.

Also think about it. This coincides (approximately) with when they get the middle feathers (I'm using the wrong word for this one, I know but forgot the term). And then later in a few months they'll get the adult feathers.

Purina Raisier Feed can be fed from hatch to point of lay, as a whole ration, just provide a source of calcium once they are laying.

Thank you everyone I'll stick with the flock raiser until they start laying and then think about switching. I've heard good things about layena The flock raiser bag does say good all the way until 18 weeks so that makes me feel better! Thanks again for all the help
