First the outside question:
At what age should I be taking my Muscovy ducklings outside? They were out once before (they were 2 days old). It was nice and I took advantage of the sunshine.
It's been a bit chilly out lately and I haven't been taking them out as the grass is wet and when the breeze blows you get chills.
I'm looking to start taking them outside daily (weather permiting), but don't know at what age. They are currently 4 days old.
Treats:
When you start giving your ducklings treats, they should also be given grit correct?
When they go outside, should they be given grit too? My yard isn't the best for natural grit, so I am supplying it for them.
I'm afraid some of the grit is too big for them. I've tried breaking it up, but really unsuccesful.
Handling:
For those people who own in your pocket kinda ducks, how much time did you spend with your ducks?
How many times a day did you handle them?
At what age did your ducklings start coming around to you and become more willing for you to handle them?
