Duckling has weird bult???

My 11 day duckling has like a weird small crust sticking near to his tail & popping hole. (It's definitely not the yolk sac) he looks healthy and he's growing up fast but what that might be??? Please help, i have grown attached to this little guy

I think it might be where the duckling was originally attached to the yolk sac before it was absorbed. It's kind of like a belly button. It just may be more obvious on that duckling than the others.

X2, it's the umbilicus. Whatever you do, DO_NOT_pick at it! Doing so could expose the inside of his belly which would probably result in death.

I second (third) that opinion. It is the umbilicus. Two of my five newer hatchlings had it very obvious like that in their first few weeks... the other three didn't. Leave it alone and it will fall off/heal on its own, no worries.
