DUCKLING HATCH # 3 STARTING NOW!

Anyone ever put eggs in to lock down and then have one die? The egg was getting a bruised color all over and I checked for movement a couple of times and couldn't find anything. The egg even looks like the life had gone out in it. I ended up removing the egg from the incubator because it made me nervous given the state of the egg itself and zero movement or anything.

Bruising is when the duckling has internally pipped in that spot. He probably ran out of oxygen and suffocated.

HELP!!! one of my newborn ducklings is so wobbly and she can't hold her head up or walk very long. She is eating and drinking with a little help. Should I syringe feed the brewer's yeast in water to get that into her system and know how much she actually got? I am not trying to kill her, so I wanted to ask. It seems like Niacin deficiency.

How is she? I think it's to early for it to be a niacin deficiency
