Hatched throughout the night with mild help- just removed shell over air sac .. was stuck to shell so I placed in a bowl to keep it from tearing or anything else she could do. Breathing and peeping. Just noticed liquid in shell, was not there or not enough for me to see when looking through window 40 mins ago.

Shipped eggs, one in brooder, others were malpostioned and failed to pip except one but she didn't make it either. New to hatching usually let mama duck do it, she was taken by coyotes so here we are trying to grow our flock.

If theres anything I can do let me know .. and if there is a cause for this please educate me!

Thank you!! Very nervous over here

What was your humidity at? Liquid in the egg could be due to high humidity.

Humidity was low throught until lockdown- 30% ish .. lockdown at 66%. After the hatch it rose to 73-75%.

I've got her cleaned, out of the egg and in a diaper thing to keep from kicking it or messing with it.. in hopes of it absorbing or otherwise correcting itself. I've done what I can and am pulling for her .. we'll see.

Thank you for the response!

Will delete thread asap* don't feel like there's much more I can do
