I’m going to apologize in advance for posting this twice, once already in the emergencies and injuries section. I just came home to find that one of my ducklings hatched with what seems like an open head wound? Perhaps the brain and skull haven’t properly fused? It’s hard to tell how inflamed it really is because the other two apparently healthy ducklings have been pecking at it. I have her separated now and I put a little antibiotic ointment on it. I’m not sure what else to do, I know the odds aren’t good. Another one of the ducklings ended up shrink wrapped so I’m having a terrible hatch. Yet another died right before internally pipping. Could this all be due to low humidity? It was a problem I kept running into for sure throughout this particular incubation. This is my first time hatching ducklings and I’m so bummed. If anyone has any advice or tips I would be grateful!
