Duckling hatched with twisted foot

My duckling hatched yesterday so he’s 24 hours old. He’s slightly smaller than the other 3 ducks and his foot is twisted sideways. His other foot is perfectly fine and he can walk run and get to food and water. I would like to help his foot if I can I’m just not sure how to go about it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Yes the other foot is exactly as it should be but this one isn’t

I think I would try tapping it flat. See if you think this will help:

So I tried this and it’s been about 5 mins and he’s already walking and running behind me and he’s fast. So hopefully it will work well for him

It seems to be but I just have to wait and see if the joint will end up sitting right after he gets used to his foot being placed correctly. Thanks for the tip and I’ll keep you updated on him
