Hey BYC!
I just got a pekin and rouen on the 24th of April. They have been best friends ever since, with the occasional bite of the other, but last night, my pekin stepped on my rouen's foot and she tried to get up, but couldn't. I think she sprained her right leg/food/hip, but I don't know. This morning, she is barely able to walk. She mainly just sits and tries to scoot herself around, but it is a lot of work for her. Now, my pekin has grown much faster, and does not understand that Daisy is hurt, so she just keeps pushing her around (not in an aggressive way at all), but I think it is making it worse. We tried to seperate them, but that backfired and they were more anxious than ever looking for the other. I REALLY need help BYC!! What do I do to help Daisy get better and to have Peanut not push her around?!
