Duckling Keeping Head Close to Body

I have one small duckling that is keeping it head close to the body, so you don't see the neck stretched out like the other ducks. It is quiet. I gave 5 ducks to the woman who gave me the eggs and kept two call ducks. She brought this little one back because she was worried it wasn't doing well. It is walking around and eating, but is holding its head so it looks like it doesn't have a neck. It is taking awhile for the other two ducks to get used to it as they were apart for four or five days. I think they will work that out. The two had bonded, but as the day goes by they are a little more accepting of the little one. I put some niacin in the food. Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks.

Lets get call duck experts here. Does the little one ever stretch it's neck out? putting niacin in the food is a good idea hopefully it's plain niacin not time released or flush free.

Hello..I also have Calls. Little Ducklings if chilled walk like that..Does it eat and drink good?.
Have you tried placing it on the floor to see if stands up right to run?..

Can you post a picture of it? What does it's poop look like?

It is doing much better this morning. I think making sure it has a heat lamp, putting niacin in its food, and giving it some vitamin drops helped out. It is holding its head up better this morning and even stretching its neck a little. It seems to have reestablished its bond with the other two ducklings too. I think it is going to be alright. It even acted a little shy yesterday, but it pushed its way right up to the food bowl this morning. Thanks I will keep you posted. It was a niacin tablet that I crushed up. It was not time release.

I am not sure about the poop, but I did not see any runny poop in the brooder.I will post a picture tonight.
