Have 2chicken hens in adjoining runs who hatched out Muscovy ducklings for me. 2 are 13 days old, 3 are 6 days old. Wanting to keep them as pets in this run, and return the hens to the general population. If I want to handle the ducklings a lot and keep them friendly, would it benefit to remove mom's now,merge the 5 ducklings? Mom's aren't very friendly or I'd not be thinking to do that. Any thoughts? It's hot out here, all are eating drinking well....
