Duckling not acting right

I can pick up some Tylan and try that. I guess it can't hurt.

ETA right after the seizures she acts completely normal. Jumps right up and starts walking around. It just seems so bizarre.

I am sorry to hear this. Is this the first since she stopped taking her antibiotic? I wish I knew how to help her.

It's the first that I have witnessed. I'm not sure if she has had some while I was at work. I did find a vet that I was able to get scheduled with for tonight. I'll keep you all posted

She is a bit off this morning, possibly from the stress of yesterday. She is still eating and is prescribed phenobarbital for seizures.

The vet thinks that because no one else is showing any symptoms and because otherwise she seems rather normal with no other changes other than loss of appetite after seizures that it is an epileptic disorder. I am giving vitamins daily in case it is vitamin related. I did ask about meds, the vet said she is pretty confident it isn't bacterial if no one else is showing symptoms after almost two weeks.

Bless you both, I bet this has been stressful for you too having to watch her. I sure hope the phenobarbital keeps her from having the seizures and she does well on it. I think it's a good idea to keep her on the vitamins.

Thanks for letting us know and please keep us updated..
