Thank you. I did have that thought before I read now what you wrote and just recorded it should be deleted. My ducklings are going to a good home and I was told the purebreds May be shown. I’ll miss coming out and calling to the drakes as they always replied back. And I loved the names I had for the drakes: Howard (the oldest by a month), Ruffles, Dipper, and ROCKY Ducky Duck ( a friend’s kids helped name him) Howard used to pick on him and Dipper chose to stick by and support him in a friendship. And Ruffles would hang with either group ( I had one hen named Lily) who Howard LOVED. She was taken by a predator last Friday. I had used poor judgement leaving her enclosed by herself separated from the drakes to give her a break because they were bothering her and she was losing feathers off her head. So in the timespan of a week I lost three that were Christmas Day hatchlings and Lily. My service dog would help me with the ducks too- never got it on video, but I’d tell him I needed his help and he’d come into the duck paddock and I’d tell him what to do (like “hold them” where he’d sit and stay perfectly even if they came running at him or flew a little toward him ( And He’s a Labrador Retreiver)If you click on report and put that you want it deleted and why the admins will delete it.
Sorry about your lost duckies.
