I went to the city yesterday, originally wanting geese, they weren't coming in 'till today

, so I got ducklings.

Goslings tomorrow!! Here's pics.....can you tell me what I got? Boys or girls?

They look like Mallards and Pekins to me.

Rouens resemble mallards, but the eye stripes are a little different in rouens.

looks like you picked up a couple of cuties!!!!! pekins and mallards seems to be what they are. pekins are the yellow ones!! thats what im waiting for in the bator right now!! due day before Easter!! good luck with the cuties!!!

I had pekin ducks as a kid. They lived forever! I hope we have as much luck with these. Do I have to worry about the mallards flying away? I've never had those. They were just so cute had to get them.

They do look like pekings and mallards, but how much brown is there on the yellow ones? If there is a lot of smudge, they COULD be buffs??

they get a big bigger than Mallards, I believe.


rouens have two eye stripes, mallards have one eye stripe and a dot underneath it.
