Duckling PIC HEAVY!!

The yellow ones have a lot of "smudged" areas. You can definitely tell the difference between my stripey ones and yours. Mine have darker stripe areas. Way too much fun. I'm having a hard time keeping my hands off them. One of the yellow ones has a very grayish head. Maybe they will be buffs.

rouens have two eye stripes, mallards have one eye stripe and a dot underneath it.

AWESOME!!!

(I didn't want to have to worry about wing clipping or having my duck fly in to the neighbors yard and end up as dog food!)

Thanks Mojo!!

figured I'd share with everyone )

Yeah, I know what ya mean about wing clipping, I keep thinking I want scoveys - but I don't want to clip wings.

I keep thinking I want scovies too...for meat. Then I think about how I would like them too much and not be able to butcher them. Next thing you know there would be scovies flying all over the neighborhood

Yeah, that's why I want them, for meat birds - but having to clip wings... sounds like a pain in the butt.

heck, my geese took a walk today (1/4 mile across the hayfield and to the road before I saw them) I'd hate to chase geese and ducks, too!!

Luckily I caught up to them just as they hit the pavement (I took hubby's car to the road

I wasn't about to run all that way) - and turned em around and they went right back home, but that was close - they could have gone and I'd never know where they went.
