Duckling pipped on the wrong side of its egg! Help!

So, we are hatching 7 ducklings in an incubator, but a few days earlier we noticed a duckling had pipped on the pointed side of the egg. It is very weak, and it seems to be struggling. It is also bleeding. I have no idea on what to do and need immediate help!

Can you take a clear picture of the egg...how much blood are you seeing?

Sorry I didn't respond to this thread earlier, but since nothing happened, I went ahead and helped the duckling, breaking the shell but trying not to tear the membrane. Then, I left it in the incubator for a day.

After a while, it hatched perfectly!

So, I guess it wasn't too bad after all!

I can get the picture of the duckling now... but not the egg.
