I have a duck that is hatching and it has been sitting in the incubator almost all the way out but it's yolk is not fully absorbed. I was wondering if it dryed out or somthing. All help appriciated. Thanks!!! (•)>

I don't know anything, but I understand your frustration. I don't see how spraying it with warm water could hurt since you said it looked dry. I hope someone knowledgeable will agree...
good luck.

If you have already opened the incubator you should do something to keep the yolk sack moist. The biggest problem is that it will dry out. There is a sticky about helping chickens hatch and it is real specific. I wrapped mine in a warm wet washcloth and put it back in with the head out of the washcloth. Other than that all you can do is give it time. It really goes down pretty quick. Good luck.

just had one hatch, and he didnt absorb the sac either...
Not sure if hes gonna make it or not..but he seems to be doing okay, so far...
