Duckling protein requirement confusion...

I think I will remove their feed, they will be give weeks old tomorrow and have been going outside of their fenced coop area every day now for a couple of hours for a week now. Maybe I will just give them a bit of food at night instead of free feeding them.
Is it too early to wrap her wing, or can I do it now without hindering her?

Yes my duck book also suggest lower protein from 3 weeks on. 15-17% protein to avoid wing and leg deformities and kidney and liver damage.
My book suggest adding oats to lower protein if needed.
25% oats to 75% feed is what my book states
