@Miss Lydia by the time I called the rehabber they were closed so I will call again in a few and find out if they will pick lucky up. I looked on mezter and found the golden 300 hybrid ducks and those are the ones I like the most behind the blue and black Swedish ducks

Telling your mom about all the duck eggs she'll have for baking and eating might get her over on your side.

@Miss Lydia yep I am definately going to try and give her that argument to win her over and lucky is on its way to raptor trust wildlife sanctuary which is the best wildlife sanctuary in New Jersey and one of the most prestigious in he country I believe lucky will be in great hands let you know how the drop off goes so excited to be giving his duck and amazing life

@miss lydia lucky was dropped off and it great hands hopefully they will be able to release her back to the while as they are non profit and will have to euthanize her if she is not fit for the wild but they said she looks very healthy so I'm sure she will be ok

@Nickbova Awesome news sounds like a really good place. I wish you the best as you work on your parents about ducks. Read up on their care and all that goes with having them food housing protection for predators while you are convincing them maybe all you learn will work on your behalf. Impress them with your knowledge

i will definately keep in touch with both of you and hopefully tell you good news about me getting new ducks thank you @caesargirl for the kind words and I couldn't stand to have it in my mind that in case lucky did die in my care that I could have prevented it easily by bringing out somewhere so I did also @Miss Lydia you will definately be updated frequently as I check on lucky and go to visit her and the other ducklings over at raptor trust
