Hello again😩. One of my female ducks abandoned her eggs when they were about a couple weeks away from hatching so I decided to put them in an incubator with my chicken eggs. Only 1 of the 6 survived and should be hatching very soon but the duckling hasn't made a sound at all. So I decided to open up the egg and some of the membrane and it seems like he's malpositioned and has no eyes??? His beak looks fine but I'm scared to find the reason as to why he's not making any noise? And suggestions as to what I should do? First picture is him looking like he has no eyes and second picture is his egg malposition with his wing over his beak. His foot is also over his head but it's hard to take a picture when you're the only one home.

Why did you open that egg? It's very clearly not ready to hatch yet. Ducklings or any bird, won't make sounds in the egg until they're internally pipped and even then it's usually not audible unless actively listening against the shell

He's ok. I was just very worried since it's been over 30 days since the duck mother first sat on the eggs. When I pulled some of the membrane there was no bleeding surprisingly. I wouldn't have gone further if there was bleeding. I left him in his egg and coated him in a little amount of neosporin.
