Duckling shaking, having a tough time walking?

Thanks! I’m on here like 100 times a day reading and learning and gathering ideas.

The hardest part of all this is trying to figure out what is best for my duck... in his ups and downs my thought is always for his well being and happiness and it’s not always very black and white. But when he goes from kinda a low to making progress again it really is a wonderful thing!

I haven’t updated in a while...

Shaky is still going strong. He goes outside daily when the weather is nice, along with everyone else!

This upcoming Sunday we are building the coop for the chickens and our duck run... however Shaky will continue to live in the baby pool in the garage (it’s attached to the house and where he lives now with everyone else).

I have no idea who is a hen and who is a drake but I’m going to attempt to pick the most appropriate buddy for him to love with. I wanted to choose the other Peking Duck but this duck is already HUGE and I feel it might be happier outside where it has room... on the flip side it is the calmest of all the ducks so it might be the best choice for that reason.

Shaky had a rough week but now has once again continued to improve and the last few days is up walking around more than ever. Still shaking and still walking funny but he continues to push on and get around.

Everyone was swapped over to nutrina all flock pellets and so can’t help but think this has helped my disabled duckling.

Shaky is bald on his back... not sure if this is normal molting or what... but he looks rather miserable at first sight though he is in high spirits!

Well unfortunately, despite showing a steady yet slow improvement... Shaky duck passed on his own two nights ago. :hit

The little duck taught me a lot and will be very missed.
