DUCKLING SHAKING HIS HEAD /HELP

I'm a little confused. Was your duckling not drinking so your dad gave her some water, and now she's worse?
he wasn't drinking yesterday morning as well so me and my dad got worried and he used a syringe to put water in his beak. I only see him drinking water when he starts shaking his head and goes to wash his nose(he just puts his head in the water). I will take him to the vet after my classes just to be sure that He's alright

How your duckling this morning? @nanook100
A bit better. He got checked by a vet and it turned out that he had a parasite. We started his treatment and i hope that in a few days he will be better. I will need to feed with every hour with a syringe tho. it's kind of hard so do you guys have any advice on how to make him not struggle that much? The vet suggested to make a boiled yolk with some lettuce into a soup by mashing them up and adding water, but i don't know if that will make him full. What else can i give him? He seems to like the boiled yolk but i want to add something else than lettuce so he won't eat the same every hour

So tiny to have parasites. Did he do a poop sample? How did he determine? Just be extremely careful when feeding by syringe they can aspirate very easy. Will your duckling not eat on its own? Eggs are extremely good for them.

He won't eat on his own. I haven't seen him eat since yesterday evening. And I am careful :) I do little portions and he has breaks between them.
