I don’t see anything in his nares. I can take a photo of his water and his brooder. He stays indoors with me. It’s 83 degrees in the house because of my tv and his brooder.
I don't think this waterer is the best idea. I would also immediately cover the large open hole at the top incase he manages to climb up and fall in. Ducklings at this age aren't waterproof and can become waterlogged and chilled.

This is probably because the waterer is not suitable for ducklings, it doesnt seem deep enough, if it is then simply cover the top opening to prevent him accidently falling in.
How can I get him a deeper waterer, this one is the one I bought him from tractor supply co, I was told to get this one by a customer service rep they used this one for their ducklings. I don’t know what else I can use for him to dunk his head.
@Duckmomma27Always make sure to let them swim in "warm " water because they can chill easily when this young. And always pat dry and then place back in brooder to finish drying. Something similar to this works great as a waterer since they can stick their heads in to clean their nares and eyes but they can't climb into
I have used that waterer for ducklings and it works pretty well for about a week. I modified mine with a container on top to auto fill. I tend to make larger waterers as they grow. As they grow fast, they tend to outgrow their waterer. A modified Tupperware container is one of the best ways to go as they get older. With the size yours is, it should still be fine with that waterer, but you will want to plan for when it out grows out.
His brooder area could be warmer than the room temperature. I would shift the heat lamp to one side, rather than in the center. This allows them to go from one side to the other to cool down if needed.
