One of my 3 week old Welshies was sneezing (or sounded like it) this morning.
After reading a couple of great threads on this magnificent forum, I realized that they were still on the water dribbler, which doesn't give them the opportunity for them to rinse out their sinuses.

I put the smallest feed bowl I could find for water, and added a drop of VetRx. They are definitely large enough to drink out of.

The problem? Now they won't drink the water. It's different. ARRGH!

They also have zero interest in "swimming" at all - not even with the shallow paint roller tray. I somehow need to figure out how I can get them to rinse their sinuses.

Any ideas are appreciated!

my ducks sneeze every time they drink water! they put their beaks in to far and start sneezing because the waster gets in their nostrils

Are they still in the house? Have you not filled a bigger pan of water? Monkey see, Monkey do with Ducklings.
Yep - they're still in my spare bedroom. I'm moving the heat lamp away a little every day.
If the weather is decent next week, I'll take them out to the duckhouse with their 2 week older companions. Maybe I need to encourage them to be a bit more adventurous.

Yes...Outside time is what they need because they learn nothing trapped in a Brooder box.

If you can offer them a bowl deep enough to clean out their nares that will help. Bedding is dusty feed is dusty. Getting them outside when warm is fun but cleaning out those nares is important. Instead of the VetRx in the water if you notice more sneezing even after they have cleaned their nares good you could just swipe a tiny drop over their nares not in their water. Mine are moving outside over night with a heat lamp and are in a pen outside during the day now. Mine are 2-3-5 weeks old . Out daytimes temps are in the upper 70's mid 80's
