Duckling struggling to stand

My girl just hatched four ducklings. All are well except one. It only sits. When the group moves it will get up and struggle after them and then plop down. Should I take it inside?

Mom is a golden layer hybrid. We currently have two drakes. One is a Pekin the other is an orphington.

could the drake have hurt it? You should be keeping the drake away from them so they don't hurt them.

Every time I see them, the drakes are nice. Even protective. I have no way to separate them since they’re completely free ranged. But they keep their distance since the mom is super protective. She attacked me when I was checking on the duckling.
Also update- after a few hours of resting in the house, the redness and swelling has gone down tremendously. It’s walking around now and rather upset with its predicament.

That's good about it's little leg but I'm not so sure about thinking that the drakes won't hurt them. I've heard they can sometimes kill their own little ducklings. @Miss Lydia what do you have to say about this?

I just don’t see it in the dynamic. The only time the drakes are near them is when I do the feeding. Then, the mom wanders off back into the woods and the drakes stay near the barn.

I’d keep a close eye on the drakes I’d also be concerned about the other predators that come around since they are never closed up. If you’ve never lost any of your flock to predators you must live where there are none. Such precious ducklings.

I always keep an eye out. I trust no one in my flock. Especially the boys. They may be free ranged but they have access to the barn. All the birds sleep either on the banester or in the ducks case in one of the stalls. The barn is closed in with my two livestock dogs (who are friendly with chicks and ducklings don’t worry) so predators don’t go in the barn. Personally the ducks are the safest at night. But no I have pretty much every predator in the book. Raccoons, coyotes, eagles, foxes, a bobcat, and a bear. Ah the joys of living in the woods. Luckily I have the dogs, the pigs who tolerate no animal, and my attack horse (seriously, he’s attacked a coyote and a dog).
