Duckling vent help

Hello I had a Duckling hatch this morning about 4 am and I was looking at him and checking him to make sure he didn’t have any problems and his vent looks wierd any help

That looks like his umbilicus, rather than his vent ( which is higher, just under the tail). Since it looks a bit unhealed, I'd put some antibiotic ointment without pain reliever on it to prevent infection.
