Now that I've (along with a few wonderful byc members) got one duckling figured out.. now I see this..

Is this a sneeze, cough, choking, something else? I've searched throughout the forums and read a ton of old and new posts about "duckling choking" "blockage" "won't eat" etc but haven't found exactly what I'm looking for . Just want to know if I need to get some first aid hospital stuff for a duckling. Give her something else?

Do you know what post or articles I should read

I've felt along her neck but don't feel anything . I've made wet food along with a bowl of nutri-drench water and regular water. Deep enough for her to blow her nose. I don't see any foam on her mouth so maybe shes not choking .

Could nose be blocked?
Food stuck in mouth or throat
Sick?

Drinks a little bit might take 1 bite of wet food but not a whole lot of either
Oh and didn't eat her worm vitamins either

I triedto put the entire video on here but it was too big. I cut it down to right after she took a drink of nutri water then she sneezed or whatever it was?

Shes not acting normal which is what caught my attention

Oh and I can hear her breathing, sometimes a light honking sound.

I had to upload to facebook first , tell me if it doesn't work and I'll try something else . Turn up volume, you can hear her sounds

I noticed she was shaking her butt that’s why I asked about poop did you look at her bottom and feel her tummy area is it normal feeling like the other or hard ? Did they eat anything new today? When did this start is she interacting with the other ducklings?

I did not think to look :he duh right. I was only focused on mouth/neck.. nothing new just the worms with vitamins and the flock raiser crumbles. Last night was normal-eating, drinking, pooping, playing- until bed time. I noticed her shaking her head a few times then blew her nose and drank and settled into bed. I really didn't think much of it cause they're all piggys. Water dish is deep enough to blow. She is interactive but not normal. I have not seen her run around. She does follow them and cuddle.

I took this video 30ish minutes ago, right before the bath. She doesn't seem interested in the watered down food, will try to eat her crumbles but just shakes her head after. Is there a better way to feed her? I also got a picture of her poop, wasn't watery this time and I'll attach it here. Bath time was sort of normal- she mostly floated, blew her nose a few times and dunked her head. I did see something hanging out of her mouth , I was able to gently grab it. I'll attach that picture too. Looks like a feather?? After I got that it did seem like she was actively trying to blow again, kept itching her neck with foot and was drinking water. After bath they all nap so I haven't seen her eat yet.

Feather? I have no idea what it is?
