-duckling video- choking? sneeze? blockage? Is something wrong?

I wasn't able to look in her mouth.. is there a trick to holding them with one hand and opening her mouth with the other. And how do you open it??

Brooder- there is a possibility. I use old towels and do check for strings to remove but I suppose I could have missed one. Crap!

Her last poop which she shot out of the fence .. all clear liquid with one poop ball, for lack of a better term

I thought it was a rock so picked it up and it was just squishy

I'm only uploading it in case there is a chance you see something I don't. I think it looks like poop.

I'm no expert, but I know people have mentioned that ducks can have allergies. To me it kind of looks like that may be an option. Sneezing, itching, and maybe she keeps moving her tail trying to get an itch back there? Like I said, I'm not an expert (we've only had ducks for 1 year now) but it's just a thought I had! I hope you are able to figure it out because you have some adorable babes!

I never thought about allergies! Holy cow ok I need to search this! Thank you !!

No problem! Like I said, it's just something I've seen mentioned in other threads! I wish I could provide a resource for you, but I'm sure you'll find a lot of good information on here about it!

I can't find anything .. i just keep getting duck allergies in people. I'll keep digging . I wonder if it's just a cold too.. I have no clue ... but thanks though as it's another option to look up. I'm worried about her not eating so I'll need to come up with something soon

I would try putting her in warm bath water for as long as you both can stand it? If she’s trying to blow her nose under the water and digging her foot at her face she likely had something stuck and hopefully the warm water will dislodge it. Is the weather still yucky where you live? I ask because my dogs do this dry sneeze thing in the winter. If his nares are dry, it could feel itchy like there is something in it when it’s just dry. And I believe @onaharley had something similar with her duckling. But I believe he grew out of it.
