duckling w/ runny nose

one of my 5 week old ducklings has clear fluid running out of her nose & i think a cough. i was going to give her duramycin in the water. does that sound ok?

any tips or feedback appreciated.

Doe it have water deep enough to submerge it's nares?

i thought so but maybe not. i put a dish in there that is deeper so they for sure can. it was clear fluid coming out. seems to have stopped. do you think it could be the water situation?

Ducks need to keep their names clean. They do this by submerging their bills and head. It can definitely cause some congestion if they can't properly clean them. Glad it's doing better.
