So the proper procedure would be to lay it on damp towells in the bator with high humidity right?

I recently had a duckling hatch with an unusual-looking yolk sac as well.

I didn't think anything of it at first, but it took a full week for it to get absorbed. Also, this duckling is less than half the size of its sibling, which hatched on the same day. They are 10 days old now and he just isn't doing very well.

Nope not damp paper towels just place the duckling on a soft cloth in a cup or small bowl so it can’t move around a whole lot and possibly catch its toenail on the yolk sac or drag it and rupture it . @Tannerpauldean I hope your little duckling makes it. @Kelly Vossen yours too.
