Very interesting! I hatch out a few hundred ducklings every year and I've never seen that. But watch, now that I said it, it's gonna happen.

Well bless, I have no idea why that would happen. Incubator or under a duck?

Incubator but never had this before. He's grown since and is huge proper show stock except no tail

If it won't carry through I'm thinking of keeping him as a back up male as solid black is rare and I breed gorgeous show blacks.
