One of my 3-week-old Khaki Campbell ducklings has some sort of white matter in her eye. It moves around, appears & disappears. It seems to be a little bit of something beneath the 3rd eyelid -- do ducks have that like chickens do?
I fear that anything I try to do to physically remove it would injure her little eye even further. I'm hoping that she can wash it out during one of her frequent dunkings in the duck pool.
This is my first time keeping ducks. Has anyone else noticed anything similar with theirs, know how to remedy this? She's just starting out in life and I want her to have both eyes to use for a good long time.
Thank you for your help!
