This little fella is doing great. Hatched yesterday morning. He still has umbilical cord and egg attached. Is this normal or do I need to do something to help him? He is moving around great even with the added weight but I'm worried it's causing problems.

That doesn’t look good. You’ll have to make sure it doesn’t become infected.

I don’t believe that is the “umbilical cord” either.

I see this thread is a few days old.
@Bana84 how's it doing now?

Abdomen failed to close completely.
Cut shell off and coat bulge with antibiotic ointment.
It will either close up or not.
