one of the ducks has an area on its neck and head that looks like there is no down. The other ducklings are not bothering him/her. I've been watching it very closely and it seems not bothered by it. Should I be concern? Has anyone seen this before? Thx in advance. This is my first time raising Mallards. We will release them into the wild when they learn to fly.

I would not release them because they are domestic and will not survive long. It would be best of you would find someone that wants them instead of turning them out to die.
