I have a duck that will come up on the porch and "knock" on my door when she wants a treat. I think it's cute, but Dh gets mad because she gets the dogs all barking lol

Oh my!! My dad would wring its neck!! Mine have just started coming into the 'yard'. They are pond ducks, and normally stick to the pond or the pasture. Well, I guess the saying is true, the grass really is greener on the other side! I'm sure that's why they are coming! But if they see me with the 'big blue can', they take off running as fast as they can back to the pond. If the can wasn't for them, they figure it out, and come right back in the yard! I suppose it doesn't help that my 'baby' ducks are in a fence right behind the house, and there are a few 'quackers' in there! They are probably interested in the newbies, but aren't brave enough to investigate further!

I have a line of bill smudges on my patio door. They know the treats are on the other side of that glass!!!

they are 5 days now. thats funny about the ducks... my adult ones also come up to my slider and quack and" knock" i just love them
