Ducklings ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED of the color purple

So, exactly as the title says, my ancona and a few other types of ducklings, are absolutely scared of the color purple, not one specific item. I have tested it, holding other colors, but they absolutely freak out when they see the color purple of any kind. Whenever there is a purple object anywhere near them or in their sight, they run over to the other side of the pen and start screaming and are terrified. It is the strangest thing ive ever seen but they are just absolutely terrified. Only thing I can think about is that I held them with a purple towel a few times. Its a little bit funny but still, anyone have any ideas?

LOL that would be horrible for me, as that would include my coop and car!

OP: my guess is they'll eventually get over it?

This was really just some levity, as I have no idea what to do if a chick or duckling is frightened of a certain color. I can't imagine.

Ducks go through a weird phase when they're young where everything is absolutely the most terrifying thing they've ever seen and it's going to eat them.

I changed water pools once (different color) when Blackberry & Raspberry were 6-7 months old and they lost it. They actually would (attempt) to fly away from it. It only lasted a few days though, and after I splashed in it with my hands a few times they relaxed.

Well I am glad there aren't any purple things around their future pen assuming they keep this kinda funny fear.
