Ducklings afraid to go outside?

I was looking forward to my 6 week olds finally going outside the duck house. Weather has been great. But, they don’t want to leave the duck house!

Any suggestions? Thanks!

I don't keep ducks. But if they're anything like chicks, the unfamiliar is very scary! Leave the door open, give them time. After a few days, put some treats just outside the door. They'll come around, but it's a big scary world out there!

My chicks are terrified of treats, although now they recognize scrambled egg. They will stare from across the brooder, pace nervously, and dare each other to try it first. Then one will seize a [berry, piece of lettuce, blade of grass, whatever] and race around the coop with it, with the others all following. A game of keep-away ensues. They forget how scary the treats were once the chase begins.

Leave them and they will venture out when ready too..

UPDATE:
We had a horrible rainy, cool day today, and where were the little ones? Out in the big yard, eventually finding the pond. Go figure, for the love...
