We just finished hatching our first batch of duck eggs. We had 2 little eggs that were supposed to hatch out 2 weeks ago and only 1 did. (He has been my constant companion since!)
Then we had 9 that were due over the past couple of days. 7 of the 9 made it out and are thriving! We decided to leave the last two eggs for another day.
So, of a total of 11 eggs we had 8 that made it. I think that is pretty good for not having a clue what we were doing!
Someone on this forum wrote that this is addicting, I am inclined to agree!
