Ducklings are pipping!! - would love some distractions!

2/4 of my ducklings have pipped and I can hear them peeping! Can’t wait for them to hatch! I will post some pictures when they finally do! I keep looking at the incubator every 10 minutes

I know what you mean. Mine pipped 2 weeks ago and I was constantly checking. Ended up with 17. How many are in lockdown?

I have four in lockdown and two have pipped.

I know the feeling but be patient!! Ducklings tend to take a long break after the first pip. It may be two more days until they actually hatch. Hopefully your other two will pip soon; I’m wishing them great luck

@KathiQuacks @LydiaB Is this egg zipping or is it just trying to make a hole? I woke up to the pip this morning so I don’t know how long it’s been there
