He had started zipping last night so I thought he was fineIn my experience, I have found that ducks take much longer from their first pip to actually hatching. I try to give them at least a day before I intervene to avoid complications.

Thanks y’all that makes me feel better! I was worried I had messed it up.They look great to me too. In a couple hours that will be completely absorbed and dried up/fall off.
Yay!!!Also good news! All 3 of the other eggs look like they’re starting to zip!
