I got some mallard ducklings about 2 weeks ago on April 22 (posting on may 4th). I had the ducklings sexed by the company and when they arrived, they had colored paper tape corresponding to their gender. It fell off all but one ducks leg. His right leg began growing around the tape and i removed it today approx. 12 days old. The foot, and leg is very swollen. He is eating, drinking and swims when I take them out. He limps badly but is able to move around the brooder. Any thoughts on what I should do?
