Hi! my ducklings seem to have a hard time eating their crumble. I wonder if maybe it's too big. They will grab a piece and drop it when they try to chew it. Should I put it in a food prosesor to make it even smaller? I gave them some wet food this morning but they haven't really touched it, I've seen them give it a few nibbles but I haven't really seen them eat much.

What food is it? A duck starter feed?

Can you take a picture of the crumble?
Sure!

Here's my duckling with the smallest bill next to the crumble. They have all gained weight since yesterday, but is it possible that that's mostly just water weight? Fortunately they're all pooping

I have zero experience of this brand but I did some research on this site and online and I didn't find any bad reviews. Hopefully someone who has used it will chime in for absolute confirmation. In the meantime, let's see that crumble when you get a chance.

Are you giving them treats as well?
ok thanks! no treats yet
