Ducklings go crazy when I leave them, but HATE being picked up

If you want to bond with them in a natural way, put them in a dog pen. After they eat and finish running around, put down your clean towels and lie down in the pen with them. They'll crawl on you, and preen you, and even climb on your belly and legs and take their naps. This makes them happy as a clam! Only do this when you've just gotten a shower so the ducklings don't ingest bacteria.
