Had a problem ~ call hens were laying, too cold in duck barn for natural hatch. Incubator hatches not the best ~ GF offered to hatch my duck eggs under her cochin bantams. Whalla! Ducklings arriving naturally with foster mother.

Petuna bantam saved the day! GF's hens broody & chicks not wanted yet. I wanted baby ducks. More surrogation to follow as our weather is still too cold for normal duck hen brooding. GF's broody hens are enjoying their hatchlings - I will enjoy my baby ducklings.
