Ok, so I ordered two ducklings. One white crested one cayuga. Is it possible that I can put the heat lamp in the coop and let them live outside? Or do I have to let them live inside with a heat lamp in a box? Is it too risky to let them live outside with a lamp? Please give some answers.

Only problem using heat lamp outside in a coop is fire. You have to be extremely careful the lamp is secure and not close to anything that could ignite other than that brooding in a coop is fine, fire is the main concern and also security making sure the coop is predator secure. This really got me to thinking about fire safety https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/les-farms-the-barn-of-all-barns.65492/

I brood mine in the coop with the MHP(momma heating pad) method. And because it's so hot here usually (Florida)they only use it for the first week or so and then they will only go under it occasionally. I try to brood all my little ones in the coop. But I do not use a heat lamp, ever.

I usually brood my babies in a brooder in my chicken house, BUT I totally agree with MissLydia about lamps and fire danger. I may have caught some hay in the brooder on fire with the heat lamp one time..... Luckily, I got it put out before any real damage was done, but I’m super-careful now about the wattage and angle of the lamp. Can’t be too careful!
