for giving them to the camp. I am sure they will have a very happy life there!

Larry and Curly were having their daily swim. Little Hugo, who hatched out yesterday... Well... I just don't think he's ready yet, even if he does. He had a mild panic attack when he was separated from his brothers, so I let him sit outside their tub to watch.

On the fifteenth I will officially have been a duck owner for 1 month.

I had no idea how much I would love my stinky little lapducks.

Trudy, Hugo, and August

Trudy is coming in with a white and mottled gray feather, August is coming in with this beautiful copper color, and poor Hugo is five days younger and still covered in baby fuzz.

It's amazing how fast they grow. My little Khaki Campbells have outgrown two brooders. I don't really have anything bigger to put them in at the moment, so I try to take them out a bit during the day. When they hatched, they were only about 2x the size of the standard chicks that hatched at the same time (I had a situation where the first duck to hatch tried to tunnel out of one incubator to get into the incubator next door with a lone chick.)

My two babies hatched about 6-7 days after yours did.
