Thanks for that, if I do have one of each when do I need to get another female?Found one, a drakeling at 7 weeks old. The one outside the box is a drake, the one inside is a girl. The difference between juvenile male and baby voice can be too subtle to untrained ears. It's much easier to identify girls.
Here is how girls end up sounding like. These are not quacks, but anyone sounding like this is definitely a girl.

Also is it possible for the female duckling to be bigger than the male? I was told the brown one is probs a female because it’s a lot smaller but the brown one sounds more like a maleThanks for that, if I do have one of each when do I need to get another female?
Entirely possible for some females to grow faster than some males even for the same breed. Since yours are different breed that also adds another factor to it, so entirely possible. Also is it possible for the female duckling to be bigger than the male? As for gender ratio and when to add girls, I'll leave it to the experts to answer since I never kept a drake until sexual maturity.
